The Friends of the Westfield Senior Center, Inc. will hold its annual meeting on Tuesday, June 4 at 1:30 p.m. at the Senior Center, 45 Noble Street. Board members will review the group’s activities during the past year and support of various programs. With the opening this year of the Center’s Senior Safety Office, the Westfield Police Department and Officer Mark Carboneau will be honored with Certificates of Appreciation. The collaboration between the Westfield Police Department and the Council On Aging assures increased safety and security for the City’s older adults. The public is welcome and all members of the Friends group are encouraged to attend the annual meeting. Light refreshments will be served.
