Create Your Financial Path with Susan Allen, Wednesday, May 8th from 6:30-8pm. Take Control of Your Finances! Join us to learn the basics of creating a solid financial future. We’ll discuss savings, credit and debt, and how to determine what you’ll need for retirement. Stocks, bonds, and mutual funds will also be explained, as will the effects of compound interest and fees on your financial plan. This program is free, but space is limited. Registration is required.
MS Word Computer Class, Saturday, May 11th from 10-12pm. This introductory word processing class covers the standard features of Microsoft Word. Attendees will learn how to use the file, edit, view, insert and format tabs, as well as how to create letters and lists. The Computer Basics Course or equivalent experience is preferred. Space is limited, registration is required.

The assisted living industry can be overwhelming, but this workshop will help you better understand your options by explaining the industry’s structure and terminology. Here you will find transparent, accessible information about the pricing, tax benefits, and financial assistance programs that make assisted living programs affordable to families. Presented by Armbrook Village, The Council on Aging, and WSPL. This program is free, but space is limited. Registration is required.
The Internet, the Web, & Searching Computer Class, Saturday, May 25th from 10-12pm. Are you getting the most out of your time on the Web? This single session class is designed to get you surfing like a pro. You will learn how to navigate the Web, identify the functions of pages, and how to use your Web browser for a more personalized experience. Space is limited, registration is required.
