The Second Annual Auction of Services, a fundraiser for Westfield Museum Inc., is scheduled to take place on Friday, October 26 at Tekoa Country Club from 5:30 through 7:00 PM.  Proceeds from the Auction will be used to construct the Museum’s accessible entryway and to support ongoing operations.

Beginning at 5:30 PM, items to be auctioned will be available for viewing.  There is no charge for admission, hot and cold hors d’oeuvres will be served and a cash bar will be available.  Bidding will begin at 6:00 PM, supervised by Rock and Carol Palmer, Auctioneers, and continue until 7:00 pm.  A variety of services, including a personalized family history, auto detailing, carpet cleaning and a steak-and-shrimp dinner have been donated.

Westfield Museum Inc. is in the process of establishing a working museum within its property at 360 Elm Street.  Presently home to an extensive collection of machinery and artifacts dating from the U.S. Industrial Revolution, which encompassed most of the 19th century, the Museum plans to open to the public to celebrate Westfield’s 350th Anniversary in 2019.
