Two amazing opportunities to learn about invasive aquatic plants. Tuesday June 18. The Wild & Scenic Westfield River committee, Center Pond Weed Project and the Becket Conservation Commission are teaming up to offer a full day of “Lets Pull Together” Events in Becket MA. From 12:30 – 4:30pm, join divers on Center Pond to learn how to become one of their vital volunteer skimmers.

In the evening from 6pm.-8pm. we will host specialist Jim Straub, from MA. Lakes and Ponds, at the Becket Town Hall. Not sure what the plant is that’s growing in your pond or lake bring a sample for quick ID by Jim!
