Upcoming July Programs at WSPL
Escape from the Rogue Planet – Wicked Fun Games, Tuesday, July 9. You and your group have crash-landed on a Rogue Planet. In order to survive, you’ll need to repair the ship, plot a return course, and make the journey home… are you up to the challenge? Can you solve the puzzles, find the keys, and escape the room in one hour? Join others, test your mental might, and enjoy a fun, live action game event! This program is free, but space is limited and registration is required. 3:30pm – Teens’ session (12-17 years old); 5:00pm – Adults’ session (18+). The Incredible Ice-Bird – Jonathan Nelson, Tuesday, July 16 at 6:00pm. The Incredible Jonathan “Ice-Bird” Nelson magic show has taken audiences by surprise with its captivating and humorous style – including real trained doves and audience participation! Ice-Bird has been offering his unique blend of music, magic, and comedy around the Pioneer Valley for over 15 years and we are excited to have him join us in West Side! Ice-Bird’s show is for everyone who loves magic – bring the entire family and your imagination! This program is free, open to the public, and for all ages.
Registration is open for: Understanding Memory Loss – with Armbrook Village, Monday, July 22 at 6:00pm. Memory loss does not always mean that you have Dementia. This presentation will look at the differences between memory loss, Mild Cognitive Impairment, Alzheimer’s Disease, and Dementia. We will discuss the signs of cognitive impairment, so you can recognize the clues that your loved one may need additional support. This program is free, but space is limited. Registration is required.
