The West of the River Chamber of Commerce announces its annual JOB FAIR 2019 – Local Jobs for Local People on May 22 at Storrowton Tavern/Carriage House from 3pm – 6pm.

This event gives local business owners the opportunity to meet with local residence and students who are looking for employment opportunities within our community. Employers located in the community want to hire people from the local area! This event is designed to connect these employers with adult job seekers, high school graduates and college students, in the community. Showcasing all of our regions career potential, the chamber hopes to entice the residents living in our communities to stay and raise families, which will in turn boost the local economy. There is a GREAT need for trades people in Western Mass, and this Job Fair will showcase just that.

Area students will be showcasing their talents and networking skills as they explore local opportunities. More seasoned professionals who want to better their career will also present their experience and preparation for today’s job market.
