The Advanced Curriculum is for students with an undergraduate major or concentration in accounting. The Advanced Curriculum is comprised of 10 courses (the majority are offered in a hybrid format and certain courses are 100% online) that can be completed in just two semesters. The MSA program offers students flexibility and affordability to achieve a greater degree of sophistication in accounting and auditing. \n  \nInformation session attendees will have an opportunity to speak with faculty and members of the Outreach Team about the program and its application process. The $50 application fee will be waived for all attendees. To RSVP\, visit www.GoBackNow.com. For more information\, call 413-572-8020 or email wsucgce@westfield.ma.edu.

SUMMARY:Local History Hour at the Westfield Senior Center
DESCRIPTION:Please join us on Tuesday\, January 21 at 2:00 pm for the next Local History Hour at the Westfield Senior Center\, hosted by the Archives Department of the Westfield Athenaeum. This month\, we’ll be doing a “History Chat\,” an informal conversation in which participants can share first-hand memories of a particular aspect of Westfield history. Our topic for this month’s history chat is “Going to School – the Elementary Years.” We’d love to hear more about your experiences attending elementary school in Westfield. For example\, we’ll explore questions such as: How would you describe the classroom you remember best? Tell us about your favorite teacher. What was typical for your school day? What were you learning? What were your school subjects? Your participation helps add to our understanding of Westfield history\, and the Athenaeum’s ability to tell that story for others. \n  \nWhat will we bring? The Athenaeum staff will bring some historical artifacts and photographs from the Archives to share with you as well that show something about elementary school life in Westfield. What can you bring? We would love to have you bring a photo that shows something about your elementary school experience\, and be prepared to tell us a little bit about it. If you would like to donate it to the Archives\, we would love to accept it\, but donation is not required. \n  \nIf you have any questions\, please call the Athenaeum Archives at (413) 568-7833\, x110. We hope to see you there!

SUMMARY:Westfield Athenaeum events
DESCRIPTION:WESTFIELD—January Artist: the Westfield Athenaeum presents the work of Roger Duffy and his show “Just Ink”. Roger’s philosophy is: “Art has many forms\, from abstract to surreal\, impressionism to realism. Many want to convey what they feel or what they see\, or even what they think. I try to depict the grandeur of the world we live in\, because in this modern day the world seems smaller and we seem greater by our technology that is right in hand. We seldom step back and see the vastness of our created world and the awe of what is before us every day.” Roger Duffy’s art will be on display throughout the month of January in the Jasper Rand Art Gallery during regular open hours Please visit us at www.westath.org or call 413-568-7833 for more information. \n  \nDo you know who you are? Come find out! The Westfield Athenaeum is offering FREE Genealogy classes on January  28 at 6 pm. Spaces are limited and signup is required at www.westath.org or call 413-568-7833 to register. SUMMARY:Events at the Westfield Athenaeum
DESCRIPTION:During the month of January the Westfield Athenaeum presents the work of Roger Duffy and his show “Just Ink”. The Artist’s philosophy is: “Art has many forms\, from abstract to surreal\, impressionism to realism. Many want to convey what they feel or what they see\, or even what they think. I try to depict the grandeur of the world we live in\, because in this modern day the world seems smaller and we seem greater by our technology that is right in hand. We seldom step back and see the vastness of our created world and the awe of what is before us every day.” The works of Roger Duffy will be on display in the Jasper Rand Art Gallery Monday-Thursday 8:30-8:00 and Friday and Saturday 8:30-5:00. Please visit us at www.westath.org or call 413-568-7833 for more information. \n  \n“Messages from the Other Side” at the Westfield Athenaeum\, January 15 at 6:30pm.
