SOUTHWICK – The Select Board and Finance Committee will hold a joint hearing on several department budgets tomorrow morning.
The 8 a.m. hearing at Town Hall is the first of two sessions planned this month. Chief Executive Officer Karl Stinehart said the sessions are open to the public.
“There will be seating for anyone who wants to watch the hearing,” said Stinehart.
Stinehart said the first department on the agenda is the Conservation Commission, which will include input from several committees.
Other departments will present preliminary budgets as follows:
8 a.m. Conservation Commission; 8:15 a.m. Police Department; 8:55 a.m. Library Trustees; 8:05 a.m. Town Accountant; 9:20 a.m. Computer System Administrator; 9:30 a.m.: Board of Assessors; 9:45 a.m. Town Clerk; 10 a.m. Building and Grounds; 10:30 a.m. Cemetery Commission; 10:35 a.m. Parks and Recreation; 10:55 a.m. Planning Board; 11:05 a.m. Board of Health; 11:15 a.m. Building Inspector; 11:20 a.m. Economic Development.
A second session is set for Feb. 18 and will feature budget presentations from the schools, Community Preservation, Department of Public Works and more.
All joint budget hearings take place in the Land Use Hearing Room on the second floor of Southwick Town Hall.
