THREE RIVERS – The Westfield Voc-Tech girls’ basketball team suffered a bit of a setback yesterday, losing 43-32 on the road to Pathfinder. After the dust settled, the Lady Tigers sat at 7-7.
“We came out flat – we had nothing,” Westfield Voc-Tech coach Matt Seklecki said. The Tigers trailed 17-11 at the half. “We could not make any traction, any headway.”
Westfield Voc-Tech’s Amber Rode led all scorers with 14 points. Pathfinder produced a pair of double-digit point scorers (Donna Becker, 12; Kathleen Morgan, 11).
The Tigers will return home Friday night against Franklin Tech at 6:30.
“We will see if we can right the ship,” coach Seklecki said.
