WESTFIELD: Florence D. (Buynicki) Holmes , 99, formerly 
of Southwick died Saturday in a local nursing home. She was born in Southwick on February 12, 1916 the daughter of the late Victor and Stefania (Kuchinski) Buynicki and attended Southwick schools. Florence worked on her father’s potato farm as a child and later worked on a tobacco farm until she was 73 years old. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond in 1992.She is survived by a son Raymond and his wife Karen , a daughter, Dorothy Tobias all of Westfield, two sisters, Frances Brown of Southwick, and Anne Bannish of Westfield. Florence also leaves five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings, Peter, Albert, Unifree, Paul and Irene, a grandson Daniel, and a granddaughter Dorothy. Relatives and friends are asked to meet directly at Holy Trinity Church,335 Elm St., Westfield on Tuesday at 10am for a Liturgy Of Christian Burial.
