Westfield – Florence Octavia Cincotta, 92, of Westfield died January 9, 2017 in Westfield. She was born in East Hartford, CT on December 7, 1924 daughter of the late Ireno and Adele (Frizotti) Vanniccini. Florence worked for many years at Buxton Mfg., retiring at age eighty. She loved to travel, shop and play Bingo. Florence was the widow of Joseph A. Cincotta who died on December 19, 1973. She leaves five children, Joseph (Sandy) Cincotta of Cooksville, TN, Karen (Paul) Sawyer of Westfield, Michelle Cincotta of Springfield, Richard (Carol) Cincotta of Yarmouthport, and Pamela Cincotta and her partner Peter Sawtelle of Westfield, eight grandchildren, Kristen (Dan) McQuade, Mathew Sawyer, Mark Sawyer, John (Stacie) Sawyer,Loni Sawtelle, Timothy Sawtelle, Joshua Meskill and Zachary Sawtelle, four great granddaughters, Molly and Allie McQuade, Gigi Sawyer, and Michaela Meskill, four sister-in-law’s Lucy and Laura Cincotta, Theresa Borkosky, JoAnn Vannuccini, and many nieces and nephews Florence was predeceased by a sister Helen D’Allessandio and a brother Richard Vannucinni. The family would like to offer a special thanks to the staff at Governors House in Westfield. The funeral will be Friday January 13, 2017 at 10 AM at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Home, 76 Broad St., Westfield MA with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery Westfield.
