WORONOCO: Frank S. Sorenson, 88, (1928 – 2016) passed away peacefully on April 26, 2016 at the Jewish Nursing Home in Longmeadow. Frank was born April 3, 1928, son of the late Frank and Blanche (Brodeur) Sorenson Sr. He was born and raised in Worcester and attended Worcester schools, graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Clark University. Frank worked as a Vice President of Porter INC for over 25 years. After retiring he moved to the Berkshires and spent many winters at Flagler Beach, Florida. He enjoyed skiing and traveling in both the States and Europe with his friend of over 50 years Richard Arnold. Frank was an accomplished cook, who took pride in his table. He was always a determined man who took pride in successfully completing the all-day challenge in the Valley Blanc Run in the French Alps. Frank is predeceased by his two brothers Richard Sorenson and Russell Sorenson. He is survived by his sister-in-law Margaret Sorenson of Sturbridge and several nieces and nephews in the Worcester Area. He leaves to cherish his memory, Richard Arnold.
