WESTFIELD: Gary J. Pignatare, 61, (1960-2021) a lifelong resident of Westfield, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Westfield to the late Frank and Margaret (Wingate) Pignatare. Gary worked for many years as a quality supervisor for Mill Valley Molding in Hatfield and prior to that worked at H.B. Smith. He was very well-known for his athletic talents in soccer and basketball. He loved to play golf and play the drums. Music was his passion. He was a member of the band Zeek and the Weezills for many years.
Gary is survived by his loving twin daughters, Rachael Pignatare and her wife Julie Warner and Rebecca Pignatare, all of Chicopee, his brother Joey Pignatare and his wife Gwen of Westfield and his granddaughters Emma and Margaret. Gary’s sense of humor and beautiful smile will live on.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 5:30 PM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St., Westfield. Visiting hours will be precede the service from 3:30-5:30 PM in the funeral home.
