WESTFIELD – Glenn P. Wisniowski, 62, (1959-2021), passed away on June 29, 2021 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital after a courageous and inspirational battle with Cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer). He was born in Westfield to the late Casimir and Wanda (Palivoda) Wisniowski and was a graduate of Westfield High School and post-graduate of Westfield Vocational High School’s auto mechanic program. Glenn worked as a repair technician for 32 years at Hamilton Standard now Collins Aerospace. He enjoyed tinkering around the house and fixing his family’s cars. He was very mechanical and handy. He took great pride in his lawn, and loved working around the yard alongside his wife. Glenn was an avid Red Sox, Patriots, and Bruins fan and enjoyed playing golf. Glenn loved his family and they adored him, spending every holiday and vacation with them. One of his favorite places to be was at his summer home in Wells, Maine for over 30 years.
Glenn is survived by his beloved wife Donna M. (Shea) Wisniowski of Westfield, his loving children, Nicholas Wisniowski and his significant other Sarah Sullivan of Westfield, and Jessica Maynard and her husband Raymond of Westfield, and his three cherished grandchildren, Claire, Ashlyn and Declan. He was predeceased by his brother James Wisniowski in 2011. Glenn was a hero to his family, and was adored by all who knew him.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA, visiting hours will precede the service from 12-3:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
