WESTFIELD – Gloria J. (Underwood) Sanchez, 71, passed away at home on July 12, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in St. Albans, VT to the late Guy and Melba (Beaupre) Underwood, and was a lifelong resident of Westfield. Gloria was a longtime employee of Food Bag in West Springfield. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and is the heart and soul of her loved ones and will be dearly missed. She leaves behind a loving husband Bernardo Sanchez, two daughters, Debbie Palmer and Jennifer Palmer, a son Bernardo Sanchez, Jr. and his wife Sara, and seven grandchildren, all of Westfield. She was predeceased by a son Jimmy Palmer, two sisters, Betty King and Linda Flores. A Funeral Home Service will be held on Saturday at 11AM in The Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA followed by burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Westfield.
