WESTFIELD – Grace M. (Miln) Phelps, 93, died Saturday, June 24th, 2023 in Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Westfield on January 9th, 1930 to the late Dana and Grace (VanWert) Miln. She attended schools in Chester and was a 1947 Graduate of Chester High School where she was a star basketball player. She moved to Westfield in 1962. She was a secretary for Cortland-Bendix and Sterling Radiator. Grace was co-owner of the Park Theater and Associated Video with her husband George. She was a member of the Westfield Moose Lodge.
She leaves four children: Dana Phelps of West Springfield, Debbie Szenda and Luciano Cennamo of Westfield, Shari Phelps of Westfield and Cindy Ryan and her husband Pat of North Haven CT. Six grandchildren: Kristy Noel and her husband Andy, Mike Szenda and his wife Marie, Peter Phelps, Traci Hebert and her husband Eric, Andrew Killips and his wife Melody and Ryan Killips and his wife Jennifer. She also leaves nine great-grandchildren.
