GRANVILLE – The National Weather Service is predicting very cold temperatures along with high winds until late Saturday night. This forecast has prompted Granville Emergency Services to open a warming shelter at the Granville Town Hall.
According to the Granville Fire Department, the shelter opened on Friday at 9 a.m. and will run as long as necessary. The shelter will run 24 hours a day with Granville EMS members on hand.
Directly from the Granville Fire social media page, it states, “If you are in need of the shelter but are unable to get there, please contact our dispatch center (413-586-1508) and ask them to have someone assist.”
