GRANVILLE – Granville residents will have an opportunity to give their input and make suggestions about the Granville Police Department on Dec. 19 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Granville Town Hall as Granville Police Chief Scott Flebotte will be hosting the gathering.
This is the first time that the Granville Police Department has held a town meeting and Flebotte is hoping that he and the residents will find this a benefit for all.
“It’s really getting your feelings out about the police department,” said Flebotte. “I’m hoping it’s a good turnout.”
According to Flebotte, it will be an informal event and discussions may revolve around the possibility of setting up a community crime watch and any other suggestions that the public may have.
Flebotte will also be hosting another town meeting on March 20 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the town hall.
