Hazel A. (Rice) Barton, 70, passed away at Wingate at West Springfield. She was born in Becket to the late Frank S. and Ada L. (Fuller) Rice and was a 1963 graduate of Waconah High School in Dalton, MA. She worked as a property manager for many years and enjoyed gardening. She is survived by her son Thomas W. Barton of Westfield, a brother, Frank Rice of Stockbridge, a sister Anna Tonlino of Otis and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 5 sisters, Mae Gargan, Bertha Humason, Dorothy Virgilio, Betty Landergren and Ethel Dupont. A Funeral Home Service will be held on Thursday at 1PM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA 01085. Followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Westfield.
