LONGMEADOW – Helen E. Wilson entered into eternity after a long illness. Helen (the 2nd of five children), one of the youngest passengers in 1946, accompanied her mother as they travelled from Scotland to Canada on the historic Queen Mary. This was just the beginning of her travels. Helen next moved with her family to the United States and completed high school at Nashoba Regional High School in Bolton, Massachusetts. Helen also lived in Georgeville, Quebec, South Berwick, Maine, Pittsfield, MA, Marietta, GA and Springfield, MA before permanently settling in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. She completed her Biblical Literature degree at Stevens School of the Bible as well as an Associates of Science degree at Holyoke Community College. Helen spent a great deal of her time overseeing a nursery at a local church as well as foster parenting; both brought much joy to her life.
