Henderson, NV – Henry Clay Milar, 83, formerly of Westfield, died October 23rd in Henderson, NV. Henry was born in Ohio to H. Clay Milar and Anna May Fenzel Milar and came to Massachusetts in 1941. He attended local schools and upon graduation from Westfield Trade School, he entered the U.S. Navy and served his country for 4 years as a Mechanical Repairman. He had many friends and loved meeting new people. Henry traveled and worked in many cities and resort areas, settling in Nevada 19 years ago. He was a member of the Church of The Latter Day Saints in Henderson.
Clay was predeceased by his daughter Kathy Leilanii Milar, his parents, sister Anne, brothers Thomas and George. He leaves his two brothers John, and his wife Joy of Ohio and Robert and wife Donna of Westfield and his sisters Sharon Kirby and husband James of Westfield and Kay Pinkerman and husband Jack of West Springfield. He also leaves the joy of his life, Shannon Haffa, his grand daughter (Bobby Pesti), from Henderson, NV with whom he shared a home. He will be missed by nieces and nephews whom he shared stories of his life and adventures.
A memorial service and burial will be in Palm Chapel and Cemetery in Henderson, NV on Thursday, November 3rd.
