SOUTHWICK – Hilda I. Bush, 92, (1929 – 2022) passed away on April 7, 2022. Born in West Springfield, MA on August 14, 1929, the only daughter of Jerry and Sylvia (Reagy) Caron, she graduated from Agawam High School in the Class of 1947.
She enjoyed watching figure skating on TV and roller-skating competitions years ago. She also loved traveling to Florida and taking a ride to the CT Shoreline and going to Lenny & Joe’s for a couple of Cape Codder’s and some steamers. Anyone who met her, loved her for her friendly and caring ways.
Besides her parents, Hilda was predeceased by her husband Roy “Russ” R. Bush in 2003, her son Gerald “Jerry” Pooler and her grandson Justin Tomel.
To cherish her memory, she leaves her children Leslie Pooler, Debra Tomel and her fiancé David Booth, Kenneth “Kenny” Pooler and his wife Kathleen and Gary Pooler; her grandchildren Corinne, Sabrina, and Lisa Pooler, Ryan Tomel and David Pooler and his wife Katrina; her great-grandchildren Christian and Eva Martin; her step-children Roy Bush and his wife Rose, Dean Bush and his wife Tamela and Linda Eremia and her husband Jerry, as well as her cousin Beverly Burnett and her husband Hal from S. Carolina.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, April 16, 2022, from 10–11 AM at Southwick Forastiere Funeral & Cremation, 624 College Highway, Southwick, MA. A service will be at 11 AM. Burial will follow in New Cemetery.
