HOLDEN – Holden defeated Westfield 9-4 in game two of the 10-Year-Old Little League Sectional Championships on Sunday afternoon.
The win for Holden forces a game three in Holden on Monday at 6:30 p.m. Westfield. Westfield took game one 5-2 on Saturday in Westfield.
In game two, Holden jumped out to a quick 6-0 lead in the first inning. For Westfield, Keith Drzyzga pitched five innings of relief, striking out five and giving up three runs. Offensively, both Brian Penland and Joe Maffia went 2-for-4.
