GRANVILLE – Sen. Don Humason’s or his staff will be holding public office hours throughout the month of September in all 11 cities and towns that he represents in the 2nd Hampden and Hampshire District.
Humason’s Director of Communications, Katherine Cole, said in a release, “All are welcome to visit and share their thoughts or concerns about state matters with Senator Humason and his staff. In addition to office hours throughout the district, Senator Humason and staff are also available to meet with constituents at the Senator’s district office, located at 64 Noble Street in Westfield. No appointment is necessary, but calling ahead is recommended.”
On September 17, either Humason or a representative from his staff will be visiting the Tolland Town Hall from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., followed by the Granville Town Hall from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Granville Town Administrator Matt Streeter is pleased Humason’s office hours will be available for Granville residents.
“It’s always helpful that they can talk about their problems,” said Streeter.
Streeter also added that if Humason himself doesn’t show up for the office hours, he’s always accessible to reach.
“He’s always available if somebody needs to get in touch with him,” said Streeter.
Humason is also scheduled to visit the Montgomery Town Hall on September 25 from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., and then the Russell Council on Aging on September 26 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
