WESTFIELD – Ida Buynowski, 89, of Westfield died Friday at home. Born in Westfield daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Sadowski) Buynowski.She was educated in Westfield schools, and was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church. Ida was employed as a supervisor at US Envelope of Westfield for thirty-seven years, retiring in 1986.
She is survived by her cousin, Thalia Cady of Westfield, and her beloved friend, Paul Jandaczek of Westfield. Ida was predeceased by her sisters, Amelia, Visia and Janina Buynowski and her brother, Joseph Buijnowski.
Her funeral will be held on Monday, October 15th in Holy Trinity Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. You may express your memorial for Ida with gifts of flowers or by offering acts of kindness, generosity and love to those in need.
