WESTFIELD – James B. Duffy, 63, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 5, 2019; after a long courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. James was born in Bethesda, MD on August 20, 1956 to the late Jack and Blanche (Kimball) Duffy. He worked for over 25 years as a Millwright for ProAmpac in Westfield. James was a classic car enthusiast and took pride in restoring his prized Camaro. He leaves his wife of 43 years Sandra (Oleksak) Duffy; daughter Michelle Hamel and her husband Joe; son James Duffy Jr.; his beloved grandchildren Mason and Karsen Hamel; brother Neal Duffy and his wife Nancy; brother Christopher Duffy and his wife Ann; sister Randie Bourbonnais and her husband John; sister Sharon King and her partner T.J. Welch; sister Susan Duffy and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held for James on Thursday (September 12, 2019) at the Southwick Forastiere Family Funeral Home, 624 College Highway, Southwick. The family will receive friends from 4:00PM – 7:00PM . A funeral home service will begin at 6:00PM.
