James Paul Janisieski

WESTFIELD – James Paul Janisieski (Jamie), 59, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 4th, 2024. He was born in Westfield, MA to Wesley and Evelyn (Kras) Janisieski. Jamie graduated from Westfield Vocational Technical Academy where he studied machine tool technologies. He was an owner and partner with John Simmitt of Westfield Tool & Die Inc. in Westfield, MA, which produces specialty dies, tools, and industrial machinery. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Church and a graduate of Holy Trinity School.

Jamie was loved very dearly by his family, many friends, and business colleagues. He loved fishing, hunting, boating, and traveling across the states and on cruises. He enjoyed making people laugh, listening to country, folk, rock music, and attending concerts at Tanglewood in the Berkshires. Jamie also loved working the farm and was a farmer at heart.

Jamie was predeceased by his parents Evelyn and Wesley and sister Debra Janisieski, mother and father-in-law Connie and Karol “Skip” Aylward, brothers-in-law Dana Maynard, and Brien Aylward.

He is survived by his beloved wife Sharon (Aylward) Janisieski, son Daniel and wife Alexandra (Govine) Janisieski of Westfield, son Nathan Janisieski, grandchildren Raelynn and Hunter, brother Richard and wife Kathleen Janis of West Hartford, CT, brother Robert (Bobby) Janisieski and companion Heidi Cote of Westfield, MA, sister-in-law Meg Maynard and companion Robby Hickson, brothers-in-law Thomas, and John, several cherished nieces, nephews, loving cousins, and close friends who all admired and loved him greatly. He will be missed hugely and always be remember for his kindness, generosity, warm spirit, and the very positive impact he made in the community, workplace, and world.

Visiting hours will be held for Jamie from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, October 10th, 2024, at Firtion Adams Funeral Home, 76 Broad Street, Westfield, MA. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Jamie on Friday, October 11th, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, 335 Elm Street, Westfield, MA. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
