WESTFIELD – Janet Arlene Stutz (Lewis) of Westfield, MA died suddenly Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Janet was born in Concrete, Washington to Virginia McAllister and graduated high school in Concrete in 1952.
She is predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Ronald Stutz. She is survived by her three children, Debra Lynn Miles and her husband Patrick Miles, Donna Sue Pighetti and husband Karl Pighetti, and Douglas Ronald Stutz, as well as his wife Mary Ellen Stutz. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren, David Borgatti, wife Sara Borgatti, and their two children, Nora and Lucas, all of Weymouth MA, Mark Borgatti of Londonderry NH, Nicole Pighetti of Newport RI, Shawn Pighetti of Westfield MA, Courtney Stutz, Chad Stutz, and Chase Stutz, all of Southampton, MA. Survivors also include her brother-in-law Richard Rider, as well as sister-in-law, Jean Stutz McKivigan and many nieces and nephews. Janet met her husband Ronald in Germany in 1953, and they wed in 1955 in Butler, PA. She was a loving mother and grandmother to her children and all that knew her. Her greatest accomplishment in life was her family.

Calling hours will be held Sunday, July 21st from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Firtion-Adams Funeral Home, 76 Broad Street, Westfield, MA 01085.
Funeral Services will be held, Monday, 9:00 a.m. at Firtion-Adams; Mass to directly follow in Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
