WESTFIELD: Jason M. Gibney, 34, died Thursday, May 26, 2016 from injuries received in a motorcycle accident. He was born on September 18, 1981, son of Bonnie (Laudato) Gibney and the late Linwood M. Gibney. Jason was a Maintenance Technician for local companies in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He loved spending time with his daughter, other family members and friends including members of the PLMC. He lived life in the Trooper Lane. He was fun, easy going, and endeared himself to others easily. He enjoyed music and was known to break out and dance anywhere, including work. Riding motorcycles was his passion. Jason leaves his daughter Cadence Gibney and her mother Jennifer Rose, his mother Bonnie Gibney, his brother Daniel Gibney and his wife Jenny, his sisters Megan Bartlett, Kimberly Russell and husband Dave, Mary Gibney and foster brother Stuart Craig. He also leaves nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many loving cousins. He was pre-deceased by his father and role model Linwood Gibney and a sister Pamela Gibney. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday June 1st from 4-7 p.m. at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield.
