WESTFIELD: Jean (Adoretti) Mack, 95, died August 4, 2015 in Port St. Lucie, FL after a brief illness. She was born, September 26, 1919 in Westfield, MA, daughter of the late Peter and Nilda (Nascembeni) Adoretti. She attended school and graduated from Westfield High School in 1937, worked at Ed Moriarty’s Shoe Store for 55 years, starting while still in school. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond J. Mack, who died May 26, 1997, also by all her siblings, sister, Stella Coldwell of CA, sister, Mary Ferranti and brother, James Adoretti of Westfield. Jean is survived by her three sons, James Boyle of Port St. Lucie, FL, with whom she made her home, John Mack, Jeffery (Chris) Mack; three grandsons, Christopher Pappagallo, Daniel and Stephen Mack, one granddaughter, Lindsay Sullivan, one great granddaughter, Madison Westover, all of CT. Jean leaves two dear nieces, Lynda Ferranti of Chicopee, MA, Mary Vandever (Leroy) of Seminole, OK, a very dear friend Linda Morse of Montgomery, MA. She also leaves two sisters-in-law, Rose and Irene Macutkiewicz, many nieces and nephews and friends. In later years, Jean enjoyed traveling, going to the casinos and shopping. She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Joseph’s Church Building Fund, 73 Main St. Westfield, MA or to Shriners Hospital, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104. The Funeral will be Tuesday September 1, 2015 at 1 PM from the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad St. Westfield followed by burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
