Jerrett E. Fanion

SOUTHWICK: Heaven gained another angel on Monday, December 27, 2021, with the passing of Jerrett E. Fanion, age 53, who died at home in the comfort of the endless loving care and devotion of his wife Jennifer and long-time friend Brian Molleur. Jerrett’s stamina and will to live were unmatched but he is finally at peace. We will keep his spirit alive through the many special memories within our hearts.

Jerrett’s soul was a beautiful blend of love and laughter. His larger-than-life personality and amazing smile were infectious. While in his presence, it was easy to share in the genuine joy Jerrett brought to the world. He was always happy to see you and made you feel cared for. Jerrett’s laugh could turn a quiet room into a party. Warm hugs, pranks, belly laughs, singing and dancing were all part of the fun.

Anyone who knew Jerrett was in awe of his loving, generous spirit. His ability to help others was beyond compare. Jerrett was a friend and brother to many. He always wanted to spread his happiness to those around him, which he did through whole-heartedly giving of his love, time and treasure.

Jerrett was a hard-working man who owned his own moving company. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved being in the wild, and one with nature. He was a skilled hunter and animal lover who became an accomplished taxidermist. As an artist, Jerrett communicated his ideas and feelings through beautiful paintings and lyrics. He became a collector of many things but the one thing that never went unnoticed was the love he had for his girls. Jerrett was a devoted husband, father and grandfather to his adored daughters, first born Brooke and her sister Eva, precious granddaughter Bayleigh and the soulmate and love of his life, wife Jennifer. He shared his passion for life with his daughters by teaching them to love nature and to express themselves through art.

Jerrett was predeceased by his mother Eilene A. (Sikes) Fanion. In addition to his wife and daughters, he is survived by his father James E. Fanion and wife Lulu, his brother John Fanion, sister Jamie Toper and her husband Joe. Jerrett felt blessed to have two additional mother figures in his life, Nancy Loubier and Marcy Chesnicka, whose love and guidance he treasured. He also leaves many extended family members including nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished close friends. Jerrett’s life was fulfilled knowing he left this earth with so much love around him.

Please join us in celebrating Jerrett’s life from 6:00 PM-9:00 PM on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at the Brass Rail Meeting House, 90 Point Grove Road, in Southwick. COVID protocols will be followed.
