Westfield – John A. Cennamo, 89, (1927-2016) passed away October 15, 2016. Born August 4, 1927 in Westfield to the late Rosina (DeLuca) and Luciano Cennamo he was educated in local schools and graduated from Westfield Vocational in 1945. He was employed by Stanhome Products for 40 years. He enjoyed watching all sports and was an avid New York Yankees fan. He also enjoyed cooking, family get togethers and casino trips. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Sandi (Janse), his five daughters, Candy Morawiec (Denny), Cookie Liptak (George), Joanne Romani (Paul), Denise Kane (Tom) and Anne Pilecki (Jesse predeceased) his brother Nunzio, his sister Helen Nagorka, his 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, with one on the way. His step children, Darrell DeDeurwaerder (Luz) and Darcy Chapdelaine (Trent) and 5 step grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Louis, Geraldo, and Michael and sisters, Mary, Lucy and Lena, and his former wife Leila (Holcomb) Litchfield. He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, Westfield. Friends and family may gather on Wednesday October 19 from 4-7PM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield. His funeral will be held on Thursday at 9AM from the funeral home followed by a Mass at 10AM in Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, 127 Holyoke Rd. Westfield, MA 01085.
