John A. Muransky, Jr., 69, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Westfield to the late Claire C. (Cusack) and John A. Muransky, Sr., he was educated in Westfield and attended STCC. Jack was employed as the working foreman for the Westfield DPW and retired after 12 years, he also worked for TJ Bark Mulch for five years. He loved vacations in Wells, ME, was a huge Patriots fan and loved Blues music. He was a member of the Sokol Lodge 244, Slovak Citizens Club, Moose Lodge in Westfield, Lake George Sportsman’s Club in Southwick and Sons of the Legion Post 124. Jack is survived by his beloved wife Denise M. Cromwell-Muransky of Westfield, his sister Julie A. Cowles of Huntington, his step-son Nathan W. Young with Stefanie Ricardi of Westfield, his grandson Paxton Ricardi and Cole Ricardi, nieces and nephews, Scott Johnstone, Tracy McIssac, Amanda Burgess, Nathan and Ethan Cowles and their spouses and great nieces and nephews, his sister in law Dolores Johnstone of Chicopee. Jack was predeceased by his daughter Julia A. Muransky and his brother James Johnstone. A Funeral Home Service will be held for Jack on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 12 Noon in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Westfield.
