WESTFIELD: John F. Boudreau, 72, (1948-2020) beloved husband of Deborah (Atkins) Boudreau, died December 16, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. John was born in Springfield on January 31, 1948 to the late Adolph H. and Frances E. (Mazzolo) Boudreau.
He lived most of his life in Springfield; having moved to Westfield in 2005. He retired 30 years ago, working for the city of Springfield as a Springfield police officer. John was a member of the former Knights of Columbus in Springfield.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his two sons, Joseph A. Boudreau of Westfield, Michael W. Boudreau of West Springfield; a special cousin, Renee Hamilton of Feeding Hills, and his loving canine companion Socrates; along with extended family members.
In keeping with his wishes, John has requested that no funeral services be held. The family was so very grateful to the kindness extended to them by the following staff that memorial contributions may be made to either the D’Amour Cancer Center, 3350 Main St., Springfield, MA 01107, or Baystate VNA and Hospice, P.O. Box 9058, Springfield, MA 01102.
