WESTFIELD – John F. Burris, 60, of Westfield, MA passed away on Monday October 3, 2022, after a short illness at Baystate Medical Center. He was born on November 14, 1961 in Westfield, was raised here and was a 1979 graduate of Westfield High School.
He was predeceased by his parents George E. Burris and Margaret (Fitzsimmons) Burris.
He leaves his sisters Susan Burris and Allison Burris of Westfield and a Cousin Lisa (Fitzsimmons) Connors of West Springfield.
He worked at the former Bon Ton in Westfield in the HR Department. John had his own Dance Studio in Huntington, MA and taught at many other dance studios. He was a survivor of a terrible illness about 8 years ago which he lost his limbs. He was able to tap dance with his prosthetics legs again. John was a talented dance teacher in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, and Acro.
