WESTFIELD – John M.“Jack” Hibbard, 86, died Monday, December 10, 2012 in a local nursing home. He was born in Westfield on November 24, 1926 to the late Willard and Cecha (Young) Hibbard.
He attended local schools in Westfield. He was a US Marine Veteran of WWII. Jack was a Service Tech for the Westfield Gas and Electric until retirement. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed attending the Marine Corps Reunions. He leaves nieces and nephews.
Military Honors will be held on Friday, December 14th at 1:00 p.m. in the Mass. Memorial Veteran’s Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam, MA.
Donations in memory of Jack may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
