WESTFIELD: John Paul Lennon, 33, of Westfield fought a courageous battle but was overcome on Wednesday evening February 4th and passed peacefully at home surrounded by family. Born in Springfield on March 14, 1981 he was the son of John Francis and Judy (Sanford) Lennon. John attended Westfield Schools as a young child until moving to Middlefield where he attended the Gateway School system. He lived in Middlefield for most of his life until returning to Westfield in 2013. John leaves behind his parents, John of Westfield and Judy of Middlefield, his brother Matthew of Enfield, CT, grandparents, Joan and Ralph Sayres of Dalton and Charlotte and Frederick Huntoon of Hinsdale, aunts Paula Tennyson, Brenda Dean, aunt and uncle Sarah and Billy Sanford and cousins Paul, Jessie, Richard, Samantha, Joe and Eric. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, John F. Lennon, Sr. and Paul F. Sanford, his uncle Thomas Dean, and his aunt Donna Lennon. John was a true friend and touched the hearts of many. He will be greatly missed by all. A Funeral Home Service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 2 PM, visiting hours will precede the service from 12-2PM at the Firtion Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA 01085.
