WESTFIELD: John W. Gordon, 92, (1926-2018) passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Lorne, Nova Scotia to the late Cameron A. and Esther M. (Chisholm) Gordon. John was employed by Canadian Railways for 22 years and for Agway, Inc. for 24 years as a tractor trailer driver, retiring in 1988. John was predeceased by his beloved wife of 63 years, Margaret M. Gordon on August 25, 2011. John enjoyed going on cruises and trips to Florida with his wife. He is survived by his three loving children, Beverly Kowalczyk and her husband Ronald of Westfield, Lloyd H. Gordon and his wife Jan of Plant City, FL and J. Blair Gordon and his wife Ellie of Fredrick, MD, his cherished six grandchildren, Kerry, Tim, Lauren, Ian, Nathan and Natalie and seven great grandchildren Zachary, Aiden, Kayla, Hudson, Kinley, Gabe and Abby. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Allan, Douglas and Arnold.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 10AM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St., Westfield followed by burial in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, Parker St., Springfield. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-7PM in the funeral home.
