WESTFIELD – Jonathan M. Burdick, 50, of Elm Street died Sunday, May 26, 2013 at home. He was born in Springfield on October 14, 1962 to the late Marie (Chevalier) and Paul Burdick.
He grew up in West Springfield and graduated from West Springfield High School. He settled in Westfield 20 years ago. The Hawthorne Eldercare and the Center for Human Development (CDC) Outreach Program were two very important parts of his life and he enjoyed them immensely.
He leaves his brothers, William P. Burdick and his wife Janet of Blandford and Gregory A. Burdick and his wife Jacqui of Westfield, several nieces and nephews and his friend and personal caregiver, George Imbayi.
There will be a Memorial Service Friday, May 31, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield Street, West Springfield. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Center for Human Development (CDC), 50 Union Street, Westfield, MA 01085.
