WESTFIELD: Joseph J. Gutt, Jr., 58, of Westfield, died June 21, 2018 unexpectedly and peacefully of natural causes. A highly accomplished and gifted writer, Joseph lived in Westfield for most of his lifetime. He was a graduate of Westfield High School, UMASS/Dartmouth (BA/English) and UMASS/Amherst (MA/Technical Writing). He is predeceased by his parents Joseph J. Gutt, Sr. and Virginia (Egleston) Gutt. Joseph is survived by his children Brian E. Gutt (and his wife Azalia) of New Bedford and Kathrine D. Kukova (and her husband Martin Kuka) of Boston, his granddaughter Gianna Gutt of New Bedford, as well as his brother Brian C. Gutt, godmother Geraldine Gutt, cousin Patricia McGovern, and beloved girlfriend Jen Landry, all of Westfield. Joseph also leaves many other cousins and friends.
