WESTFIELD:
Joseph M Macutkiewicz died Wednesday July 8, 2015 in a local nursing home. Born in Suffield, CT, Joseph was a former 30 year resident of Russell before moving to Westfield in 2001. He was a retired machinist at the former Digital Corp. in Westfield. He was the former longtime owner with his wife Rose of Mountain Laurel Trailer Park in Russell. He was a member of the Russell Community Church and served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Joe was a volunteer at the Westfield Senior Center and enjoyed fishing. He leaves his wife Rose Marie (Pellerin), a son Joseph A and his wife Kristen of Richmond, MA; a daughter Michelle Storozyk and her husband Joe of Westfield; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Robert in 2008 and several siblings. A funeral service will be held Thursday July 16, 2015 at 12 noon in the Russell Community Church on Main St followed by services at 2 pm at the MA Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
