WESTFIELD – Judith (Waltermire) Beach, 72, of Westfield died Saturday at home surrounded by her loving family. She was a lifelong resident of Westfield, daughter of the late Richard Waltermire and Elsie (Grubert) Waltermire and step daughter of the late Malcolm Wilcox and Rita Waltermire.
Judy was the parish administrator at the Episcopal Church of the Atonement for thirty years. She was an active member in the church and the community, volunteering at Noble Hospital, The Community Table, and Stanley Park. She was active in the Westfield Women’s Club and the Red Hat Society. She was an avid golfer and sports fan and enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren participate in sports.
She is survived by a son, Jeffrey and his wife Colleen of Medway, MA and a daughter, Jodi Beach and her partner Shelley Eldredge of Manchester, NH. She also leaves her three loving grandchildren, Eric, Kaelyn, and Lauren Beach.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday at the Episcopal Church of the Atonement, 36 Court Street, Westfield at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery in Westfield. Calling hours will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Atonement, on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
