SOUTHWICK: Kathleen R. (Hardy) Mrusek, 71, died Sunday, November 2, 2014. She was born in Seekonk, MA on September 20, 1943 to the late Charles and Mary (Cordeiro) Hardy. She grew up in West Yarmouth, attended local schools and was a graduate of Dennis Yarmouth High School. Kathleen worked for Verizon Phone Co. in Hyannis and Springfield and retired in 1997. She moved to Louisiana in 1965, Tampa, FL in 1972 and Southwick in 1976. She was an avid crafter, she volunteered for schools in the drama department. She also loved her African Violets. She was predeceased by her husband Ronald Mrusek in 1986. She leaves her children David Jardin of Rhode Island, Mary Benjamin of Westfield and Kellie Marshall of Southwick. She also leaves her grandchildren Cody Benjamin and Joshua Marshall, her brother Charles Hardy of Cape Cod and her sister Barbara Brick of Seekonk, MA. The funeral for Kathleen will be held on Friday November 7th at 8pm from the Firtion Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. Calling hours will precede the service on Friday evening from 5-8 pm.
