WESTFIELD: Kenneth Francis Heiden, Sr., 90, of Westfield passed away on December 20, 2021. Born in Holyoke, MA son of the late William Charles
Heiden, born in Northampton, MA, and Eva Mary (Dubois) Heiden, born in Agawam, MA. He served in the US Army, 187th Airborne Regimental Combat Team (RCT) during the Korean War. Kenneth retired as a machinist for Kidder Stacy of Agawam, MA.
Survived by his devoted wife Helga Margareta (Daller) Heiden, son Kenneth F. Heiden, Jr. of Colonial Beach, VA, daughter Ronda A. Trojanowski of Palm Coast Florida, and Donna M. Houghton and her husband Robert of Southwick, MA. His grandchildren Gina Trojanowski, Joshua K. Houghton, Austin D. Houghton and his wife Nia. A brother William C. Heiden, Jr. of Pensacola, FL and a sister Carol Aiken of Goodyear, AZ. He also leaves many nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was predeceased by his three sisters, Joan Crepeau, Joyce Mastroianni, Mary Ellen Woodell and a brother Frank R. Heiden.
Kenneth enjoyed playing cards and pitch with family and friends.
A private wake for family and friends will be held. A public funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam.
