Kevyn Richard Leger

WESTFIELD – Kevyn Richard Leger, 46, of Westfield, passed away on November 20th, 2025. He was born on September 19, 1979, in Springfield, Massachusetts, to Richard Leger and Patricia (Foley) Leger. From the very beginning, he brought laughter, heart, and an energy that people never forgot into the lives of everyone who knew him.

Kevyn attended Westfield High School and continued his education at Holyoke Community College before pursuing his passion for the arts at the New York Film Academy. He carried a creative spirit throughout his life and was known for his unique perspective, quick wit, and larger-than-life personality. Kevyn had a way of making people laugh, of bringing energy into any room, and of reminding those around him not to take life too seriously.

His favorite place to be was on Cape Cod, where he loved spending time with family and friends, sharing laughs, and enjoying the summer. Kevyn was an avid reader and had a deep love for music. He took great pride in his impressive vinyl record collection and his ever-growing lineup of Chuck Taylor sneakers—both reflections of his distinctive style and personality.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Jeremiah Foley, R. Dorothy (Duquette) Foley, and Alexander Leger.

Kevyn is survived by his loving parents, Richard Leger and Patricia (Foley) Leger of Westfield; his grandmother, Loretta (St. Peter) Leger; his brother, Jeffrey Leger and his wife Andrea (Castanera) Leger of Westfield; his sister, Andrea (Leger) Perry and her husband Michael of Agawam; and his cherished nieces and nephews, Avery Perry, Alyssa Perry, Samuel Leger, and Benjamin Leger. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 6th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Firtion-Adams Funeral Service in Westfield, followed immediately by a celebration of life at Shaker Farms Country Club.

Kevyn’s family encourages everyone who knew him to celebrate his life with stories, laughter, and fond memories, just as he would have wanted.
