SOUTHWICK – The Southwick-Tolland Regional High School girls’ basketball team prevailed in a season-opening tip-off against Westfield Voc-Tech on Monday.
Southwick senior Melissa O’Neill scored a game-high 15 points in the Rams’ 46-30 victory. Freshman Morgan Harriman chipped in eight points, and Lindsey Wilcox had seven.
Brandi VanGelder led Westfield Voc-Tech (0-1) with 11.
