WESTFIELD – Laurette L. Rollins, 89, of Westfield died Wednesday, March 6, 2013 in Mercy Hospital. She was born in Springfield on August 14, 1923 to the late Victor and Ada (Ethier) Brunelle. Laurette was the widow of Kenneth B. Rollins who died in 1998. They were married in August of 1944. She moved to Westfield in 1955 and later to Dundee, Florida and returned to Westfield 2005. Laurette enjoyed needlepoint, cross stitch and reading. She leaves two sons, Douglas Rollins and his wife Joanne of Westfield and Victor Rollins and his wife Diane of Fryeburg, ME; two daughters, Genevieve Beebe and her husband Richard of Waterford, ME and Marjorie Meczywor and her husband Richard of Blandford; a sister, Vivian Supczak of South Hadley; twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 12 noon in Holy Trinity Church, 335 Elm Street in Westfield. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Oak Grove Cemetery in Springfield. Calling hours are omitted.
