CHESTER – Lawrence L. Bellinger, 60, passed away unexpectedly on December 21, 2022, at his home in Chester, Massachusetts.
Lawrence was born on May 13, 1962, in Westfield, MA to Frederick E. Bellinger and Joyce M. Bellinger (Dwyer).
Lawrence resided in Chester, MA for over 30 years.
Lawrence proudly served his country in the Army National Guard for over 25 years.
Lawrence had worked at the Strathmore Paper Company, Crescent Lee Cardboard and was most recently he was employed by the Home Depot Distribution Center in Westfield for over 10 years.
Lawrence was an avid hunter and had a love for antique cars, spending much of his spare time restoring them. Lawrence was a talented harmonicist and played in a local band for many years.
Lawrence is predeceased by his mother Joyce M. Bellinger. He leaves his loving wife of 30 years Charleen Bellinger (Garfield) of Chester, MA, his sons: Benjamin Bellinger of Chester, MA, Lawrence W. Bellinger and his wife Yesenia of Texas, Christopher Bellinger of New York, and Joshua Bellinger of Chester, MA; his father Frederick Bellinger of Blandford, MA, his brothers: Frederick Bellinger and his wife Jessie of Chester, MA, Jeffery Bellinger and his wife Darlene of Palmer, MA, and Gary Bellinger and his wife Valerie of Beckett, MA; his grandchildren: Jazzel Aguirre, Jeremiah Garcia, Justin Garcia, Shilo X. Bellinger, and Cooper J. Bellinger; his best friend and co-worker William Stewart of Springfield, MA, along with many other family members and friends.
Family and friends will gather for a period of visitation on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, from 4:00 – 6:30 PM followed by a prayer service at 6:30 at Westfield Funeral Home and Cremation, 4 Princeton St., Westfield, MA 01085. A private burial with full military honors will be held at the North Blandford Cemetery, Blandford, MA in the Spring of 2023.
