Leon Harlan Goulet

JONES COUNTY, GA: Leon Harlan “Uncle Pee-Wee” Goulet or “Bumpa”, 83, passed away Friday, September 2, 2022, at his residence. Memorial services will be announced at a later date by the family.

Mr. Goulet was born July 3, 1939, in Brockton, Massachusetts, and had lived in Jones County for the late seventeen years. He was the son of the late George H. Goulet and Mildred Brooks Goulet Norway. He was a retired truck driver for Harris H. Goodman Trucking and a member of the Jones County Cruisers and Hilltown Cruisers in Massachusetts. Mr. Goulet was a family-oriented man with a selfless and giving spirit. He, along with his wife, was the anchor of their family and raised more than just their own biological children. Mr. Goulet was preceded in death by his son: Leon G. Goulet and a daughter: Kim L. Goulet Saunders.

Mr. Goulet is survived by his wife of sixty-four years: Carol Ann Goulet; daughters: Debra Lainey Goulet DeAguirs and Carol Ann Goulet Gauthier; son-in-law: Karl Saunders; grandchildren: Benjamin Lee Goulet, Amber Lee Goulet-Wallace (Joseph), Robert Lee Gauthier, Corey Michael Gauthier, Karlee Ann Perez (Daniel) and Charles Karl Saunders; six great-grandchildren including Katalia Perez and Lincoln Perez; and by a goddaughter: Joanna Creighton Cruz.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Regency Southerncare Hospice for the compassionate care they are giving to Mrs. Goulet at 5233 Riverside Drive, Suite E, Macon, Georgia 31210.
