Lillian J. Scibelli

SOUTHWICK – Lillian J. Scibelli, 89, of Southwick, beloved wife of the late George A. Scibelli, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Agawam, MA on August 28, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Rhea (Vezina) Paro.

Lillian graduated from Agawam High School in 1946. She worked in banking before getting married and raising her children. Later in life she worked part-time for Dr. Daley and then part-time for Scibelli’s Mobil in Southwick.

She is survived by her children, John G. Scibelli of Enfield, NH, Daniel A. Scibelli and his wife Barbara-Jean of Southwick, and Patricia L. Scibelli-Mendes and her husband Joseph of Southwick; four grandsons, Christopher, Gregory, and Steven Scibelli, and Joseph Mendes; 2 great-granddaughters, Lauren and Katie Scibelli; and her sister, Edna Shibley.

Besides her husband George, she was predeceased by her siblings, Rita Muller, Doris Williams, Ernest Paro, Eleanor Claire Smithies, and Lawrence Paro.

Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 14th from 4-7 PM at the Southwick Forastiere Funeral Home, 624 College Highway, Southwick. Her Funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 15th starting at 10 AM from the funeral home, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 AM at Our Lady of the Lake Church, Sheep Pasture Rd., Southwick. Burial will follow in New Cemetery.
